After this slurry seal, even though notices were posted, people not only drove through the wet slurry, they walked throughout the community tracking footprints , tire marks on just about every concrete surface. This one is finally complete. Started off as a pressure washing job. Morphed into pulling out an electrical junction box that another contractor refused to do, to patching with color match. Who is working Labor Day weekend like me? Pulling out this non functioning junction box, and patch, as the electrician said is can't be removed due to it being concreted in. "Can't", is a naughty word around here. Got it removed patched and shot a layer of sealer on the monument. Still needs one more coat. #sweeperguys
Originally was called to pressure wash this monument and wall. As I was doing so, board members asked if I could also paint. The concrete was black, however heavily oxidized. I let them know I can do anything. Also advised that the monument should be sealed to help prevent efflorescence, moss growth, and overall protection. The builder contacted us as they were having issues with their permeable pavers not draining. They just finished constructing this community and wanted us to restore permeability. We found a lot of left over construction material and compacted dirt in the joints.
